How to: Check printer setup.
Solution:
Select 'Print...' from the 'File' menu. Select the printer setup in the 'Printer' group.
To select the printer setup:
1) Select the 'File' menu and select 'Print...'. (The Print dialog box appears.)
2) Select the printer in the 'Name' drop-down list box of the 'Printer' group.
NOTE: If the printer needs to be changed, select the desired printer from the 'Name' drop-down list.
3) Make sure all the other information in the 'Printer' group is appropriate.
NOTE: The information includes the status and the type of the printer.
4) (Optional) Click 'Properties...' to check the setup for paper, graphics, fonts, and devices.
a) Click appropriate tab.
b) Make sure the information displayed is appropriate.
c) Make the necessary changes, if any.
d) Repeat steps 4)a) and 4)c) for the other tabs.
e) Click 'OK' to close the 'Properties' dialog box.
5) Click 'Cancel' to close the 'Print' dialog box without printing.
